Classes

Intro Class

If you are a beginner in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu without any grappling background, this class is designed for you. This personalized session aims to demonstrate how Jiu Jitsu can be applied in your daily routine and integrated into your overall lifestyle. While focusing on fundamental principles, the introductory class ensures a sense of achievement and learning from the very first session.


Fundamentals

Building a strong foundation is key. Our Fundamentals Methodology, which serves as our curriculum, is vital in laying the groundwork for beginners' success. This structured program comprises 20 classes, numbered internally #1-#20, focusing on teaching techniques, fight progression, and the integration of techniques to achieve safe submissions. Self-defense is an integral part of the curriculum, making it suitable for those interested in mastering fundamental and practical Jiu Jitsu, providing a solid basis for sport Jiu Jitsu.

Upon completing these 20 curriculum classes three times, totaling 60 classes, students are prepared to advance to our Intermediate class and begin sparring, also known as ‘rolling’.

Classes Continued

Intermediate

Intermediate Classes are designed for White Belts with 2 stripes and above. This program comprises 36 classes and focuses on fostering an understanding of the interplay between various positions and combinations of techniques to secure submissions or earn points in the context of sport Jiu Jitsu. These classes entail targeted positional training and traditional sparring sessions.

Advanced

Geared towards Blue Belts and above, our Advanced Classes emphasize strategic foresight to stay ahead in the game. These sessions involve immersing in a single technique and its evolution over several weeks, with a strong emphasis on crafting and refining a game plan and its nuances.

No Gi

In the world of Jiu Jitsu, the phrase "No Gi, no problem" resonates among grapplers, wrestlers, and MMA fighters. This style, devoid of the traditional Gi, eschews the use of grips for control, leading to a faster and more aggressive form of Jiu Jitsu that poses equal mental challenges. We recommend that our students engage in both Gi and No Gi classes, as each complements the other seamlessly.

Self-Defense

Made for the real world, BJJ is a form of self-defense that every person should master. BJJ focuses on ground-level altercations – utilizing holds, throws, blows, and a variety of submission techniques. This makes Jiu Jitsu ideal when learning how to take on an opponent who may be larger than you, without necessarily having to hurt them.

Fitness

With such a fast pace, you’ll be burning tons of calories while practicing Jiu Jitsu. While BJJ is likely to help you shed a few pounds, it’s going to make you a stronger athlete in every respect.
